Becky has 11 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Although she has experience in medical surgical and cardiac nursing, primarily she has been a pain management nurse in both the hospital and clinic setting. As charge nurse of a busy multi-provider pain management practice as well as clinical trials nurse for a research center, she has written policies and developed efficient processes for these successful practices.

As a registered nurse of 11 years, the majority of her practice has been devoted to pain management. She graduated Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing in 2004. Prior to earning her nursing degree, she attended Louisiana Scholars’ College at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches where she graduated with distinction earning a Bachelor of Arts concentrating in science with a minor in mathematics. Becky’s nursing experience is in medical-surgical, cardiac care, pain management, and clinical research. She has worked and managed in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Most extensively her experience has been managing the clinical operations of a busy multi-provider outpatient pain management clinic. During this time, she assisted in streamlining processes, writing and revising clinic policy, and assisting in implementation of EHR including writing of templates and documents. As a clinical trials’ nurse, Becky has participated in over 20 Phase 2 and Phase 3 drug and device trials related to migraines, low back pain, cancer related pain and post-herpetic neuralgia. She is certified both as a clinical research coordinator (CCRC) and a pain management nurse (RN-C). Her dedication to better patient outcomes and eagerness to be on the fore-front of emerging technologies and processes in the field of pain management are apparent.
